Aina will be at TokMi's and over there, she's in heaven!!!
TokMi will give her free reign basically, and she will maximise the opportunity!!
See, here she's trying to climb up the stool to access Mom's dressing table.
What she wants from there you may ask?
- TokMi's and Tok Ayah's picture, framed in glass
- TokMi's perfume, which she will take to TokMi and ask to be sprayed with it
- TokMi's lavender scented powder, which she'll put all over her face
Then, if TokMi leaves her bedroom slippers lying around.......... well, just look below!!
Babah came back on Wednesday, earlier than expected. I was expecting him to arrive in KL in the evening, but he called early Weds morning to say he'll be arriving arouns 2pm.
As soon as he got back, we obviously got to work to get all the fish out to be cleaned. Needless to say, Aina was in awe LOL LOL LOL
OK. This is my first time EVER cleaning a fish this huge. This is the haruan tasik, which I filleted and skinned, to be made into our dinner of fish 'n chips :-D :-D :-D
Ana had a 'jolly good time' cleaning the kitchen after our glorious battle with the fish.... :-s
Will update pics of the cooked bounty, IF i remember to snap before we grab!! LOL

Aina Went To The Zoo....
Over the Chinese New Year Holidays, we decided to take Aina to the Zoo. I've been wanting to take her for a while now, but decided to wait when KL in general was a bit quieter i.e. long holidays :-p
Well, it was a good thing we arrived there around 10am as the carpark was filling up quickly.
At the ticket booth, I was rather annoyed when a guy blocked the queue just to make sure no one passed before him while he stood there 'conveniently' pondering how many adults and kids were in his group to make the ticket purchase...
This is Aina, immitating the elephants and giraffe :-D
When Aina saw this, she started 'roaring' as well... LOL LOL LOL
Aina will always seem so brave at first, and then when you place her near the ropes, she'll run to make sure there's a good distance between her and the animals :-p LOL LOL LOL
It's hillarious!!
Finally, when we were in the bee museum, she dozed off in her stroller. We decided to go home since it was getting hotter and hotter, and people were coming in droves. We'll cover the other half of the Zoo another time :-)
This is Aina's *HUGE* teddy which her Babah got for her.... :-D
She was in awe the first time she saw it, and loves to hug and kiss the bear, ehehhehehhehe
I will be going on official duty for 2 weeks starting 28th February, so obviously this blog will be even more quiet then it already is.....
Apologies to all who drop by, but lots of things in life takes a higher priority these days. I will update when I get back, hopefully with pics from my trip :-)
Will definitely be missing Aina like crazy.......Thank God for all her pics and videos in my fone :-D

SO proud of Aina..............
Before I proceed further, I just HAVE to brag that Aina used the toilet for the first time last night :-D :-D :-D
She was playing, then she suddenly stopped and sat quietly. She got up, walked to the bathroom and banged on the door "Nak! Nak!"
Inside, she started pulling her pants and diaper and pointed to the padded toilet seat. She sat on it, did her business and then pointed to the bidet when she was done!!!
SOOoooo happy and proud of her!!!!
Anyway, these are pics I snapped of her, playing with her 'beauty kit' which her TokMi got for her....
Oh yeah... hubby dearest is in a restricted-carbs mode, so this was one of our dinners last week, where you can see the obvious absence of any form of carbs :-)
I know I've been horrible at keeping up with my own activites, and entries are few and far between. Anyway, I have less time on my hands now, and even this is a quick entry before I have to run off.

PAN-GRILLED ORIENTAL T-BONE STEAK
you need:
2 pcs T-Bone steak
marinade:
1 Tbs oyster sauce
2 cloves garlic, minced finely
1 small pc ginger, minced finely
1 1/2 tsp. light soy sauce
2 Tbs. passionfruit kordial (may use orange)
2 Tbs. honey
how to:
leave to marinade for a minimum of 15 mins, then heat your grill pan or a regular non-stick pan.
when pan is very hot, drop one piece of the steak and cook to your preference. I cooked ours for 3 mins on each side, resulting in the perfect medium to well that we love so much :-D
please note that if using a regular non-stick, you might have to watch the cooking process closely as it will burn easily since the pan cannot take extreme heat.
I served the steaks with par-boiled carrots and asparagus with a light sprinkling of salt and pepper.
Note: you have to cook the steaks one at a time if using regular pan or you might end up broiling it instead of grilling :-)
I know I've been horrible at keeping up with my own activites, and entries are few and far between. Anyway, I have less time on my hands now, and even this is a quick entry before I have to run off.
